Import quota

On December 11, 2008, the Mexican Ministry of Economy established a import quota for certain toys classified under the following tariff codes of the Mexican Harmonized System:
 
9503.00.01, 9503.00.02, 9503.00.03, 9503.00.04, 9503.00.05, 9503.00.06, 9503.00.07, 9503.00.08, 9503.00.09, 9503.00.10, 9503.00.11, 9503.00.12, 9503.00.13, 9503.00.14, 9503.00.15, 9503.00.16, 9503.00.17, 9503.00.18, 9503.00.19, 9503.00.20, 9503.00.21, 9503.00.22, 9503.00.23, 9503.00.24, 9503.00.26, 9503.00.99, 9504.30.99, 9504.40.01, 9504.90.01, 9504.90.02, 9504.90.04, 9504.90.06, 9504.90.99, 9505.90.99, 9506.59.99, 9506.62.01, 9506.69.99, 9506.70.01, 9506.99.06, and 9506.99.99.
 
In accordance with the publication, Mexican producers of toys may import duty-free the aforementioned toys from all countries. The quota will remain in effect from December 11, 2008 to December 31, 2014.
 
From 26 March 2010, the Mexican government has raised the import quotas for toys by an unstated amount.
