On 21 May 2024, the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced allocating USD 21 million in funding to the U.S. Meat Export Federation to support U.S. meat products exporters to expand their customer base beyond traditional markets.
