On October 22th, 2009, the Ministry of Economy of Argentina initiated an anti-dumping investigation on electric heating devices originating in China. Italy has been selected as a third country for establishing the product's normal value.
On September 23rd, 2010, the investigation was extended.
On May 4th, 2011, a definitive anti-dumping duty was imposed. The rate of the duty is 138.26%.

On 5 May 2016, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate a sunset review of the anti-dumping measure imposed on imports of above-mentioned products (Resolución 164/2016). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 8516.29.00. This follows the request lodged by LILIANA SRL and ELECTRONIC SYSTEM SA. The duty will remain in force for the duration of this investigation.

On 6 November 2017, the Argentinian authorities extended the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China following the conclusion of the above sunset review. The rate of duty is 378% of the FOB value. The measure is in force for a period of five years.
