Anti-dumping

On March 13, 2015, the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of panoramic dental x-ray apparatus, analog or digital, from Germany (Circular No. 15, 13.03.2015).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 9022.1311 and 9022.1200.
The complaint was lodged on January 29, 2015 by Dabi Atlante S/A Indústria Médica Odontológica. The investigation started on the day of the publication of the circular in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil, i.e. on March 16, 2015.

On April 10, 2015, the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to terminate the investigation without judgment on the merits. Reason for termination is the unability of the domestic industry to provide timely information (Circular No. 21, 10.04.2015). Circular No. 21 was published in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil on April 13, 2015.
