In March 2023, Japan Bank for International Cooperation signed a loan agreement totalling up to JPY 9 billion (USD 68.4 million) with SJVN Limited to finance a solar power generation project in India. Additionally, the bank also provides a JPY 6 billion (USD 45.6 million) guarantee so the companies could access private funding from other commercial banks.
