In February 2023, the Austrian Ministry of Finance and the export agency Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) announced the launch of a EUR 3 billion "Exportinvest Green Energy" scheme. The scheme supports Austrian export-oriented companies in the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
