Other export incentive
On 5 December 2022, the government of Japan approved a JPY 4'201 million (approx. USD 31 million) supplementary subsidy to support exports of certain food products*. The subsidy is announced for the year 2022-2023 and is in addition to the JPY 907 million subsidy (approx. USD 6.64 million) announced in April 2022 (see related state act). The subsidy will be provided to support exports of goods identified under the agricultural export expansion strategy approved in November 2020.
