Export tax

On 13 May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced a decrease in the export duty of wheat.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will decrease from USD 114.3 per tonne to USD 111.9 per tonne. The updated duty rate will be in effect from 18 May 2022 until 24 May 2022. The Ministry notes that the fee is calculated based on the indicative price of the commodity in question.

Export tax

On 13 May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in export duties of barley and corn.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on barley will increase from USD 74.1 per tonne to USD 76.5 per tonne. Additionally, the export duty of corn will increase from USD 77 to USD 77.3 per tonne. 

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 18 May 2022 and will be in effect until 24 May 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
