Export tax

On 29 April 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in export duties of wheat, barley and corn.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will increase from USD 119.2 per ton to USD 120.1 per ton. Additionally, the export duties of barley and corn will increase from USD 73.3 to USD 73.5 per ton and from USD 54.9 to USD 58.3 per ton, respectively.

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 6 May 2022 and will be in effect until 12 May 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
