Trade finance

On 20 January 2022, the Australian Export Credit Agency (EFA) allocated AUD 50 (over USD 36) million to Honan Holdings Pty Ltd, an Australian producer of wheat and flours. The objective of the operation is to finance the exportation of grain mill products to China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States of America, and Vietnam.

The intervention is detailed in the transaction register of trade finance transaction beneficiaries covering operations made in the period lasting from 1 July 2021 up until 20 January 2022. Given that the EFA does not provide the exact date that the financing deal was signed, 20 January 2022 was set as the inception date.

Notably, Honan Holdings Pty Ltd also received support from EFA in 2019 and 2020. Please, see related state acts.
