Export tax

On 10 November 2011, Uruguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance adopted Decree No. 384/011 temporarily reintroducing a 0.21 per cent tax on all exports of meat, milk and wool products. This measure entered into force on 18 November 2011 for the period of one year.
 
On 12 December 2012, Uruguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance adopted Decree No. 403/012 extending the previous measure until 31 December 2013.
