Anti-dumping

On May 24, 2013, the Argentinian authorities decided, after having conducted a sunset review, to continue the anti-dumping duty on imports of vacuum flasks and other vacuum vessels with stainless steel inners (of a capacity not exceeding 2.5 litres) originating in China (Resolution 237/2013, 24.05.2013).
The products subject to the duty are classified under the following HS code: 9617.0010.
The duty takes the form of a minimum FOB export price of USD 15 per kilogram.
This definitive anti-dumping duty entered into force on the day of the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on May 30, 2013, and is applicable for a period of five years.
This duty follows a review requested by Lumilagro S.A. A sunset review was then initiated by the Argentinian authorities on November 25, 2011 (Resolution 499/2011, 25.11.2011). Resolution 499/2011 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on November 29, 2011.

The original anti-dumping duty was decided on January 7, 2004 by Resolution 16/2004. It entered into force on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on January 9, 2004. It was then extended a first time on November 23, 2006 by Resolution 912/2006 (published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on November 27, 2006).

On 22 May 2018, the Argentinian authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China. This follows the request lodged by LUMILAGRO S.A. The duty will remain in force for the duration of this investigation.
