On August 29, 2019, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) announced that it would provide overseas loans to Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd for glass manufacturing in the US and Vietnam.

Financial assistance in foreign market

Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) announced that it would support the Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd., with a loan of 154 million USD. The loan will go towards financing the manufacturing and sales of transparent conductive glass for solar panels in Vietnam and the United States. This loan is cofinanced by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited and Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

JBIC provides direct loans named overseas investment loans to Japanese companies, overseas affiliates or joint ventures where Japanese companies hold equity interests and governments or financial institutions partying with such overseas affiliates.
