On May 23, 2019 the U.S. Department of Agriculture released initial details for a trade assistance package to support farmers and ranchers during the current trade conflicts. The smallest part of the $16 billion package was $100 million to be issued through the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program (ATP) to assist in developing new export markets on behalf of producers.
