On 10 February 2019, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry issued Ministerial Decree no. 99/2019 extending the export duty imposed by Ministerial Decree no. 91/2018 for one year with some rates changed. On 10 February 2020, the export duty on talc blocks was extended without change whilst decreasing duty level on Feldspar ore and powder.
Update:
In February 2021, the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued decree no. no. 82 of 2021 that continues the imposition of export tax on mineral ores
