A dietary supplement that provides weight management is being reclassified in a way that results in the application of a lower tariff.
NUMBER OF INTERVENTIONS
In a decision published in the May 1, 2019 edition of Customs Bulletin and Decisions, U.S. Customs and Border Protection proposed that a dietary supplement that provides weight management be reclassified from HTSUS 2101.20.90 (8.5% duty) to HTSUS 2106.90.98 (6.4% duty). The change will be effective with respect to goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after July 1, 2019.
