Import tariff

The import duty on wheat and wheaten flour was decreased from 94.72c/kg (approx. USD 0.07) and 142.18c/kg (approx. USD 0.11) to 37.93c/kg (approx. USD 0.03) and 56.90c/kg (approx. USD 0.04) respectively. The products are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 1001.91 and 1001.99 as well as 1101.00.10 and 1101.00.90.

On 29 September 2017, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) increased the customs duty on wheat and wheaten products, see related measure.
