In August 2017, the Mexican Ministry of Economy initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber from Poland, the Republic of Korea, the United States and Japan. In January 2019, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from the Republic of Korea, the United States and Japan. No definitive duty was imposed on imports from Poland. In January 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in May 2025 (applicable extension date is in January 2024).
