The Indian Directorate General of Foreign Trade has henceforth restricted the exports of sandalwood oil, making them permissible only for exporters who apply for and avail a license.

In force
The exports of Sandalwood oil that were earlier permitted to all exporters, subject to quantitative ceilings, have now been restricted only to exporters that obtain an export license for the same.
