Import tariff

The government of Turkey has lowered its import tariff on live sheep and feeder cattle. With effect from 22 December 2010, sheep and lamb are subject to an import duty of 20 percent (previously 225 percent) and feeder cattle may be imported duty free (previously 20 percent).
