Import tariff

On November 5, 2010, the Government of Colombia published two decrees that eliminate the Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to products classified under 3,995 tariff codes of the Colombian Harmonized System (CHS).
 
In particular:

  • The Decree 4114 of 2010 establishes the elimination of the MFN import duties applicable to 3,916 tariff codes, except for goods classified under Chapter 87 -Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof.
  • The Decree 4115 of 2010 eliminates the MFN import duties applicable to several goods classified under Chapter 87 of the CHS.

 
The elimination of the MFN import duties entered into force on November 5, 2010.
