In July 2010, the government of Ukraine initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. A definitive duty was imposed in February 2012 and was terminated in February 2017.

On July 21, 2010 the government of Ukraine initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of methanol from the Russian Federation.
On 26 February 2012 a definitive duty was imposed. The dumping margin is 57.91% for all producers with the exception of four of them. For details refer to the source.
On 27 February 2017, the Ukrainian authorities terminated the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Russia. The duty was terminated following its expiry.
