Internal taxation of imports

On 5 July 2016 the Government of the Russian Federation approved exemptions from import VAT payments concerning certain technological equipment without local analogues (Decree No. 630).
The technological equipment in question is classified under the following codes as per the Common Customs Tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union: 8458 11 200 9, 8458 91 200 8, 8459 31 000 0, 8460 21 900 8, 8461 40 110 2, 8461 40 310 0, 8461 40 710 0, 9031 10 000 0, 903180340 0.
