In December 2015, the government of Republic of Korea initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. In December 2016, the definitive duty was imposed. In July 2021, a sunset review was initiated.

On 22 December 2015, the Korean authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of butyl glycol ether from the United States and France. The products subject to investigation are classified under HS code: 2009.43.
On 6 December 2016, the Korean authorities imposed a definitiveanti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from France and the United States. The rate of duty on imports from France is 20.10%. The rate of duty on imports from the United States is between 23.06% and 25.00%.
On 30 July 2021, the Korean authorities announced the initiation of a sunset review of the definitive duty imposed on imports of the subject good from the United States and France.
