Import tariff

On 15 September 2015, Argentina updated the list of"criterion values" ("valores criterio de carácter preventivo") for imports of input or output units, whether or not containing storage units in the same housing (NCM 8471.60.52; 8471.60.53), from specific origins.
 
The denoted criterion values ranged from a FOB Value of USD 3.00 per kg to a FOB Value of USD 8.50 per unit. The previous import criterion values for these HS Codes ranged from a FOB value of USD 3.30 to a FOB value of USD 5.40 per unit.
 
The countries for which these criterion values refered to were: China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Viet Nam, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia and Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
 
The affected jurisdictions are those import orgins whose trade volume with Argentina exceed USD 1 million on the affected tariff line in the year prior to the intervention.
