On 16 January 2016, the European Commission announced regulation 2016/38 on the extended advance payments ceiling for the wine sector. The previous regulation 555/2008 raised the maximum ceiling for advance payments from 20% to 50% until the end of 2015.
The regulation at hand prolongs these special arrangements for 2016 as well. It came into force on 17 January 2016.
