Import quota

On 11 October 2010, the Republic of Korea increased the market access quota (MAQ) for garlic (HS 0703.20; 0711.90; 0712.90) by a total of 12'000 tons. 
 
The MAQ for garlic increased from 14'467 to 26'467 tons. The tariff on garlic is 50 percent within the MAQ and 360 percent beyond the MAQ. This measure is valid from 11 October 2010 to the end of 2010.
