The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 3920.4900.

On May 10, 2013, the South African authorities decided upon the continuation of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of PVC rigid from China and Chinese Taipei. The rate of duty imposed on imports originating in China is 32.7%. The rate of duty imposed on imports originating in Chinese Taipei is 226%.

On 26 April 2018, the South African authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China and Chinese Taipei.

On 14 December 2018, the South African authorities extended the definitive duty on imports of PVC rigid from China and Chinese Taipei following the conclusion of the sunset review. The rate of duty is maintained.
