Anti-dumping

On November 22, 2013, the South African authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of graphite electrodes from China and India.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8545.1100. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between May 1, 2012 and April 30, 2013.
On February 21, 2014, the South African authorities terminated the investigation without imposing a duty after the domestic production of the goods under scrutiny ceased.
