Tariff increase: Coconut without its shell (NCM 0801.11.10), duty increase from 10% to 55% (increase starts on 1 September 2012) Motor graders (NCM 8429.20.10), duty increase from 0% to 35% Motor graders (NCM 8429.20.90), duty increase from 14% to 35% Backhoes (NCM 8429.59.00), duty increase from 14% to 35% Bricks (NCM 6902.10.18), duty increase from 10% to 35% Until 31 December 2015, Mercosur allows Brazil to introduce tariff exceptions which are limited to a quota of 100 different NCM codes. Those codes have either a lower or higher tariff than the Mercosur Common External Tariff and are laid out in Camex resolution no. 94/2011, Annex II. Due to the maximum number of 100 NCM codes, Brazil had to drop three product lines from the list. These goods went back to its original Mercosur Common External Tariff : Film material (NCM 3701.10.29), duty increase from 8% to 14% X-ray films (NCM 3702.10.20), duty increase from 4% to 14% Sulfuric acid (NCM 2807.00.10), duty increase from 0% to 4% (excluded from 1 September 2012 on)
