Tax-based export incentive

On 15 April 2011, Uruguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance adopted Decree No. 143/011 introducing a 2 per cent tax refund on the export of synthetic detergents, herbicides and insecticides corresponding to tariff lines 3402.20, 3808.91 and 3808.93.
 
This measure entered into force on 9 May 2011.
