On April 5, 2013, the Government of Colombia announced a provisional special measure on imports of powdered milk from Argentina under the Economic Complementation Agreement No. 59 (ACE No. 59) with Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
 
In particular, this resolution approves a temporary reduction of the duty-free tariff rate quota from a volume of 1,957 tonnes to 993 tonnes. In the case of the 964 tonnes that no longer enjoy the special tariff-quota regime, the general 20% import duty applies now to them.

This measure only applies for 90 days.
