Export tax

On 11 August 2009, the government of Thailand removed export taxes from certain hides and processed rubber woods. Prior to the change, the now tax-free buffalo and cow hides had been subject to a rate of 5 baht/kg; the now tax-free processed rubber woods had been taxed at three percent.
