Export tax

On 10 September 2013, the Saudi Arabian authorities eliminated the export duties on untanned hides and skins according to the World Trade Organization's Trade Policy Review 2016 (WT/TPR/S/333). The elimination follows the gradual elimination annually since September 2008. The export duty rate was SAR 2000/tonne (ca. USD 533), approx 20%.
