Anti-dumping

On 18 April 2016, the Commissioner of the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain quicklime exported from Malaysia, Thailand and Viet Nam (Anti-dumping Notice No. 2016/40, 18.04.2016). The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code subheading: 2522.10.00. The complaint was lodged on 22 March 2016 by Cockburn Cement Limited.
 
On 24 November 2016, the Australian authorities terminated the above investigation without the imposition of duties. The investigation was terminated as the injury caused possible dumping was deemed negligible.
