On 14 October 2014, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued Resolution no. 93 altering a tariff-rate quota on anhydrous sodium sulfate carrying the Mercosur Common Nomenclature code 2833.11.10. The import duty was reduced from 10% to 2% for a quota of 425'000 tons and a period of 180 days, starting 15 October 2014.
