On 19 November 2009, Argentina imposed, in the context of an anti-dumping investigation initiated on March 10, 2009, a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of certain steel rims used for buses, trucks, trailers and semi-trailers originating from China. By virtue of this measure, subject products exported at a declared FOB price below US$3.14 per kilogram are required to post a guarantee for the difference between the declared value and the provisional minimum price. The HS codes in question are 8708.7000 and 8716.9000.
On January 8th, 2015, the above-mentioned anti-dumping measure was revoked. Reason for this decision is public interest.
