In a Federal Register notice published on May 6, 2014 (Vol. 79, No. 87), the Federal Transit Administration announced that in response to the City of Cincinnati request for a Buy America waiver for a cross-connect cabinet, it is waiving its Buy America requirements for the crossconnect cabinet needed for a Cincinnati Bell utility relocation associated with the Cincinnati Streetcar project. This waiver is limited to a single procurement for the cross-connect cabinet for the Cincinnati Streetcar project. The item in question was expected to be sourced in Ireland.
