Import quota

 On 10 August 2015 the Turkish government decided to reduce the import tariff on bovine animals and meat of bovine animals with bone in. The reduction is defined in the context of an import quota for agricultural products originating from EU. Whereas the quota enabled a 30% and 50% reduction the ruling now is setting a duty free quota for the products 0102 and 0202 mentioned in the decree 2006/1149. (except 0102.21, 0102.29.29, 0102.31, 0102.90.20, 0102.39.10 and 0102.90.91) 
The ordinary tariff rates for the both products on 31.12.14 were:
Tariff line: 0102: 15-135%
Tariff line: 0202: 100-225%
