Export quota

On 26 December 2008, the Ministry of Commerce announced the first batch of export quota on coke for 2009. Based on the announcement, 5,780,000 tons of coke will be permitted for export. A total of 37 Chinese coke exporters are entitled to the export license.
 
Compared to the second batch of 2008 export quota on coke, there is 140% quota increase in 2009.
