On June 11, 2015 the governor of Oregon signed into law a bill (SB714) that facilitates certain "grey market" sales of automobiles. More specifically, the bill prevents any motor vehicle manufacturer, distributor, or importer from taking any adverse action against a motor vehicle dealer because that dealer sold a motor vehicle to a customer that subsequently exported the motor vehicle or resold the motor vehicle for export.
