Import quota

On 18 May 2015, the Directorate General for Foreign Trade, Partogi Pangaribuan, was quoted saying that the import quotas for cattle in the present quarter will be raised to 250'000 animals, an increase of 29'000 animals.
The move was based on a demand hike related to the celebrations of the Eid Al-Fitr season.
