Export quota

 On 17 July 2014, the European Commission published regulation 776/2014 increasing the quantatitve limits for exports of out-of-quota sugar and isoglucose in the marketing year 2014/2015.
Whereas previously the limit has been set at 400'000 tonnes, it was raised to 650'000 tonnes of sugar.
The scheme entered into force on 31 October 2014 and was set to be in force for 12 months.
Update:
On 16 July 2015, the European Commission published the quantitative limit for the marketing year 2015/16. As the limits remained unchanged, this measure's duration was extended for another 12 months.
