Import quota

On 13 July 2015, according to numerous and consistent media reports, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade lowered the import quota for cattle from 279'000 to 50'000 animals for the third quarter of 2015.
At the time of writing, no official statement by the Ministry of Trade was available.
Due to the unavailability of trade volumes in the UN COMTRADE database for the year 2014, the list of affected trading partners is based on 2013 data.
Update:
On 10 August 2015, the Indonesian Coordinating Economic Minister announced Indonesia would import a further 50'000 tonnes of cattle in the coming two weeks. (cf. Related Measures)
