Safeguard

On 31 December 2008, Kazakhstan initiated a safeguard investigation with respect to wadding and articles of wadding, absorbents cotton waddings and articles thereof.
According to document SWD/2014/0169 final of the European Commission, Kazakhstan has imposed definitive safeguard duties on 26 September 2011.
DocumentSWD/2013/0140 final of the European Commission, re-confirms this fact and also clarifies that Kazakhstan has imposed these definitive safeguard duties with respect to Germany and Italy.
