Anti-dumping

On May 15th, 2015, the Turkish authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of seamless tubes, pipes and hollow profiles of iron (other than cast iron) or steel from China (Notification 2015/19, 15.05.2015).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 7304.
The complaint was lodged by Sardogan Endüstri ve Ticaret.
 
On 12 February 2016, the Turkish authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of the above-mentioned products from China (Notification 2016/3, 12.02.2016).
The rate of the duty imposed on imports originating in China is 22.15% and 50.35% of the CIF valued depending on the exporting company. This measure will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months.
 
On 4 August 2016, the Turkish authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the above-mentioned products from China (Notification 2016/35, 04.08.2016). The rate of the duty is USD 100 or 120 per tonne depending on the company.
