Notification No. 65 (RE-2010)/2009-2014
On 4 August 2011, the Government of India, vide Notifiction No. 65 (RE-2010) / 2009-2014, altered the conditions imposed on the import of worked monumental or building stone (except slate) and articles thereof, mosaic cubes and the like, of natural stone, and artificially coloured granues, chippings and powder of natural stone.
Import is now freely permitted if the CIF value of such import is of value US $ 60 and above per square metre. This minimum value was previously US $ 50 and above per square metre.
