Export ban

The government of the Republic of Argentina on 25 March 2014, announced its decision to suspend the export of the following products (starting from 26 March 2014) for a period of 360 days: 

  • Waste and scrap of cast iron
  • Waste and scrap of stainless steel
  • Waste and Scrap of Other Ally Steel
  • Waste and scrap of tinned iron or steel
  • Other waste and scrap (turnings, shavings, chips, milling waste, sawdust, filings, trimmings and stampings,whether or not in bundles)
  • Other Ferrous Waste and Scrap
  • Remelting scrap ingots
  • Copper waste and scrap
  • Aluminum waste and scrap
