Anti-subsidy

On June 16th, 2014, the Egyptian authorities initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of edam cheese (semi-hard cheese with 40% fats in dry matter) originating in the Netherlands.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 0406.9090.

On 14 April 2014, the Egyptian authorities terminated the above anti-subsidy investigation. The decision follows lack of cooperation from the domestic industry.
