Anti-dumping

On 9 February 2015, the Indian Directorate General of anti-dumping & allied duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of carbon black used in rubber applications (excluding thermal black and carbon black grades meant for semi conductive compound applications) from South Korea.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2803.0010.
This follows the application lodged by M/s. Phillips Carbon Black Limited and M/s. Hi-Tech Carbon.
 
On 20 November 2015, the Indian Directorate General of anti-dumping & allied duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, terminated the anti-dumping investigation on imports of Carbon Black used in rubber applications from the Republic of Korea without the imposition of any anti-dumping measure.
